Chimpanzee Behavior

Most of the day the Chimpanzees spend it foraging (the gatheriing of plants or food), and eating. Their diet consist of mostly fruits, and leaves. It was thought that chimpanzees were primarily vegetarians, eating fruit and leaves and occasionally insects and small rodents, once in a while the Chimpanzees like to hunt birds, and small antelopes. Sometimes they get in a groupe, or party, and kill another primate to eat it.

The Chimpanzees spend about 6 to 8 hours hunting for food. The baby Chimpanzees like torun around, and clime trees. They like to play "chase". These games they play will help them when they are adults, wresteling, fighting, and biting will be used violently in a fight as an adult Chimpanzee.
