Threat to the Chimpanzees

Chimpanzees are in danger of going extinct. The reason why Chimpanzees are are going extinct is because of the illegal trade, or sale of wild animal meat. That trade or sale is called Bushmeat. Chimpanzees are threatened by bushmeat because people in other countries like Africa, and Asia like chimpanzee meat.

Bushmeat not only poses a significant threat on the Chimpanzee population, it also harms other wildlife who have suffered going extinct in other countries.

Chimpanzees are also in danger because of the experiments they use on them at laboratories.
