| The Chimps population keeps on declining in Africa. The Chimpanzee population used to be estimated to about 8,000 to 12,000, individuals in Africa, to about 800 to 1,200 Chimps in less than 20 years. That is a really big decline in population because there is not that many Chimpanzees out in the wild. |  |
